Sarah MacKinnon is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Athens, Greece and Los Angeles, California.

A self directed artist with a background working for large tech companies, my work aims to uncover the anxiety of the Western consumerist cycle encouraged and trapped by technology. I use painting, drawing, mixed media, and music to look for spaces where the organic meets the inorganic, with a current focus on emotional triggers in the online purchase cycle. In 2021, I moved to Athens, Greece, in order to explore new material realities and narratives. Although I frequently return to the US to connect with the cultural ethos of both nations, I consider Athens my home.
